And if that wasn't enough you also get direct tech support from SketchUp as well, truly SketchUp Pro is money well spent and my goal with this training series is to help you get even more than your money's worth, I hope you enjoy it and thank you.Driving Dimensions Plugin for SketchUp: Driving Dimensions is a plug-in for Google SketchUp that allows you to make parametric changes of any 3D model in very simple and intuitive way. An excellent example of this would be a Maxwell Render, which is a wonderful render engine that has a SketchUp Pro plug-in which utilizes the C PlusPlus API to reduce the time of export of a SketchUp file to Render in seconds instead of taking minutes like it would with a Ruby API, which is certainly attractive to deadline sensitive professionals. With the inclusion of the C PlusPlus API in the Pro version, third party developers have even more power to develop support for SketchUp. Also, a slightly hidden benefit of the Pro version is a C PlusPlus API, in the free version there is only the Ruby API, which is used for the vast majority of plug-ins to SketchUp. In addition to all of that the Pro version also comes with several additional importers and exporters not available in the free version, which will allow you to move your 3D assets from program to program more efficiently. And last of all if you want to create the look of your own hand-drawn sketches for presentations of your SketchUp models there is no better way to do that than Style Builder and it only comes with the Pro version of SketchUp. Third, the new Solids feature is a huge productivity booster by giving you access to superfast Boolean operations. Second, LayOut only comes with the Pro version and it has a ton of power for everything from drafting to presentations to page layout, all directly utilizing your SketchUp models, scenes and styles natively. Well there are a few very good reasons, first you can only create Dynamic Components in the Pro version and Dynamic Components are an incredibly powerful feature that will take your productivity to a new level when you master them. So, why go Pro? After all SketchUp is free and the Pro Version cost about 500.00. Any changes between the two I will cover in the first few chapters of the series to get you caught up quickly. Before we begin I should tell you that I've already done a training series for the free version of SketchUp 7, and since almost all of that series is still valid for Version 8 I'm not going to cover any of the basic functionality of SketchUp again. My name is Jason Maranto and I will be your guide for this training. Hello and welcome to Google SketchUp Pro Version 8.

The collision ID used for the roads in Waluigi Pinball and Mushroom Bridge is same as used in the USA demo, despite the fact that it produces a metallic sound in the demo and the normal road sound in the final. It seems to have been intended for this mission. The Snowman object has an unused setting where it won't respawn after breaking it. Uses an unused setting, where the track is in Mirror ModeĬollect 1 Coin with Luigi, might have been a test for the coin collecting missions. Seems to be an early version of Mission 1-4 Seems to be an early version of Mission 7-4Īlso uses an unused setting, where the camera is slightly zoomed out Interestingly, Luigi uses his Poltergust 4000, although in missions in the final version, the drivers only use their Standard Kart. This is a scrapped mission from the Kiosk Demo.Īnother scrapped mission from the Kiosk Demo. However there are 28 entries never used by the game, because they were scrapped. The file mission.mr is a table containing configurations for missions. (Source: Prof9 (Twitter)) Removed Missions A table showing the values that choose which sounds play is shown below. While the load times for the games can be modified by the milliseconds by something like an action replay or using a different DS model (as there is slight differences in the game's load time between models), and this can cause a different sequence of sound effects to play, if those same actions are repeated it will lead to the same sounds playing each time. Because of this, the sequence of random numbers generated will always be the same leading to the same results every time, controlling for all other factors (model of DS, use of Action Replay, etc). Unfortunately, potentially as an oversight, instead of the results of this RNG being random, it is seeded with the exact same seed every time: 0x12345678. The game chooses between 2 short "vroom" sounds or one long one, followed by Mario saying either "Here we go!" or "Yahoo!" based on two values derived from a random number generator, specifically a Linear Congruential Generator. When the game is starting up, on the Nintendo/ESRB Online notice splash screen, there can be various different outcomes of what sound effects play. In Mario Party 2, if all four players are knocked out of the game or the time limit reaches zero, the minigame ends in a draw.Dump the sound effects and put them in the table. This is also the final minigame, where the human player plays against a team of three Koopa Kids, with Stage 3 being used. In the Mini-Game Coaster, the stage that is used is dependent on the skill level that is played: Stage 2 is used for Normal, and Stage 1 is used for Hard.
Ulrich said the answer is creating a workplace that people appreciate. Jake’s is facing the same challenges finding workers as every other business. TOMLINSON’S TAKE: Anti-vaxxers could bring COVID back like a horror movie monster Food service economics will be challenging. Animal feed, transportation fuels and other commodity prices are rising, which means food costs are not far behind. Ulrich said Jake’s is still having trouble sourcing some meats and seafood, so his team has been developing new menu items in Jake’s test kitchen for customers to adopt. Helpline: Jay Lee answers your questions about technology. But the hospitality industry is far from recovered from the pandemic, and the supply chain remains kinked in many places. Vaccines have turned the tide against COVID-19, and businesses are slowly returning to normal. If we didn’t use the collective financial strength of the governments we elect to keep businesses going, our economy would never grow to any significant size. We have federal, state and local disaster assistance for the same reasons. Getting the entire supply chain to play the long game rather than worry about short-term losses is the difference between dealing with a computer and a human. Keeping the business going, isn’t that always the challenge? Pandemics, hurricanes, floods, freezes, and power outages are the crises that test businesses. “They were able to pay their employees and keep the business going.” “While that doesn’t sound like a good business model, and it’s certainly not sustainable, it was the right thing to do at that time because it kept the cash flowing and kept the rent being paid,” he added. Ulrich even convinced some product manufacturers to donate items to help restaurants stay open. Sales staff ensured customers knew how to apply for the Paycheck Protection Prpgram and other government programs. Jake’s helped clients switch table service to groceries or take-out by providing products in different sizes and packaging. They actually went out and worked in their customer’s establishment just to keep the restaurants open.” “Our sales team members, many of them are trained chefs. “The biggest thing that we did to protect ourselves was to make sure our customers were still operating,” Ulrich said. The company is using the latest technology to make ordering from them as simple as the big wholesalers. Jake’s has set itself apart with specialty and locally sourced products that track restaurant industry trends. Foods has 5,300 trucks and 168 warehouses. Houston-based Sysco is a global operation with 8,500 trucks and 326 distribution centers. The food distribution business is one of the nation’s most competitive, with slim margins that reward scale. The company delivers products to 2,500 customers from South Texas to the Hill Country up to Dallas-Fort Worth and as far east as western Louisiana. Today, Jake’s Finer Foods employs 200 people at a start-of-the-art warehouse and 35 workers at a specialist butcher service called Gourmet Ranch. He soon added breakfast meats and started buying other companies, growing into a full-service food distributor. Kervin “Jake” Jacob started the business in 1946, selling eggs in Houston after coming home from World War II. TOMLINSON’S TAKE: COVID-19 knocked a lot of businesses out. “There is a customer out there, and it’s a growing part of the customer base, that is really turning away from the bigness of the corporations and appreciates the fact that, that I, as the CEO and one of the owners of the company, I know my customers, I know their businesses, and I know their families in many cases.” We’re not intimidated by the growth of the competition,” said CEO Kevin Ulrich. Rose meets the dashing Captain Jack Harkness - has she found a hero even better than the Doctor? A mysterious cylinder is being guarded by the Army, while homeless children (living on the bombsites) are being terrorized by an unearthly child.
I'd compare the exploration in this game to Breath of the wild in that you can go almost anywhere you want just by jumping and finding the correct paths. This makes exploration in this game ridiculously fun. But it isn't a chore to travel in this game because unlike most jrpgs your character runs fast and jumps high and doesn't take any fall damage. This game has the best open world of any game I've experienced. This game is pretty overlooked because it is on the Wii U but it is actually a pretty good game. I love this game and I highly recommend it. Overall, I enjoy this game a lot and planet Mira is filled with secrets that I wish the developers fleshed out more. If you are thinking of playing make sure to explore as much as possible. The movement of your character is the best in the series, and that's a great thing since you will be on foot for most of this journey. The Exploration of Mira is where the real meat of this game is. The graphics are pretty good for a Wii U tittle, but the music is on par with XC1 and XC2. The exploration caries most of the game from the start, but once the story comes to fruition it gives us a crescendo of information that leaves our imagination run wild plus a massive cliff hanger. It is basically mission after mission until you hit Chapter 8. This story, which is interesting, for most of its early chapters is pretty much non-existent. It focuses more on the exploration aspect of this new planet called Mira however, it still gives us an intriguing story that makes us question what happened before and what will happen now. Xenoblade Chronicles X is different from other Xenoblade games. This game is begging for a sequel because as it stands there is just too many things open for speculation.Īll in all as much as I recommend this game, it IS on wii u so I don't see to many people playing it nowadays. The story is nothing too crazy (except for the end) but at the end of the day there are SO many fucking plot holes and mysteries that don't get resolved that it's insane. There's no shortage of anything when it come's to combat (except healing cause there's a strange lack of healing abilities). The sheer amount of customization with all the classes that you can mix and match as well as the skells that you can also heavily customize. Simply put, I firmly believe this Xenoblade has the best combat of any other game in the series. However the one thing this Xenoblade has over the others is it's gameplay. That's not to say it was horrible as their are a lot of twists that blew my mind (the ending made my sphincter clench) and I liked a lot of the characters (mainly Lao). When compared to the other Xenoblade games, this one has without question, the weakest story. If you're one of the few people who has a Wii U, I'd recommend giving this game a shot. Final thing to say is that this is probably one of the best games that's still exclusive to the Wii U. The volume is too high during cutscenes though. Well, some of it's pretty good when there isn't crappy singing going on. There is a built-in achievement system of well over 700 achievements which I like as well. Speaking of which, there's just a ton of missions to do that will keep you busy for a long, long time. Lots of death trap monsters lying about also which are all too happy to crush you mercilessly if you wander into their path, even in the starting area! There are probably too many NPCs for your party especially if you plan on getting all of their affinity and heart to heart missions done. Like an MMO, it has a super detailed skill and gear system which is good, but chances are you'll need to get some tips online as to how to build your character and the party NPC's. Definitely a fun game with really beautiful environments and creatures, but it plays a lot like an MMORPG even when you're focusing on single player. She infamous delivered a speech espousing her opposition for the United States to enter the conflict which would become known as World War I on the grounds that it was nothing but a ploy by rich capitalists to further exploit and enslave workers. (Although her questionable embrace of eugenics reveals she had a capacity for radical, right-wing causes if raised in the name of fake science.) Keller staunchly supported and engaged membership in the workers’ union that is almost synonymous with socialism in America, Industrial Workers of the World. Helen Keller went on from that moment that Annie Sullivan performed the miracle to work tirelessly for what may be termed radical, left-wing causes. and many others termed socialist in a terminal case of misunderstanding. Helen Keller was the real deal and as a result held beliefs and convictions that were nothing at all like those espoused by Barack Obama. A real actually card-carrying Socialist, not what these people mean by socialist as a term that has been weaponized to use against anyone they hate. The reality is that for a great many of those who respect Keller because they have an idealized version of her she would actually represent an idealized version of everything they have been taught to fear and hate. And that idea is the concept of overcoming the most impossible of difficulties to learn and live and make a difference. Because of this circumstance, Helen Keller is recognized as an idea rather than a life lived. Because in a way (and this is not meant take away from the considerable later achievements of Annie Sullivan in any way), Annie’s story reaches a climax with she makes that breakthrough with Helen whereas for Helen that very same moment represents the commencement of an extraordinary life.Ī double irony really exists within the context of The Miracle Worker being the end-all and be-all of most people’s knowledge of the life of Helen Keller. There is no backstory necessary with Keller because the play tells her whole history up to the miracle. It is Sullivan’s backstory that informs the theatricality of the play and yields useful biographical information. Of course, the play does sport a title about the teacher who wields the miracle and not the student. The main character is Annie Sullivan and though Patty Duke won awards for both her stage and screen performance as Keller, as a role it is really a bit less Helen Keller and a bit more the wild blind girl who must be controlled. Throw out the name Helen Keller among any group of people of any but the largest size and chances are the only thing referential information anyone has is the famous play (or, more likely, the film adaptation of the play) that for all practical purposes isn’t really even about Keller. It is one of those ironic twists of fate that most people know Helen Keller even mainly or only through The Miracle Worker. We are thankful for their contributions and encourage you to make your own.
